Teaching a dog to put it's 2 front paws 'up' on something. Useful for before putting dog in car, putting a collar on or attaching a leash and many other things.
This command is also known as 'spread 'em' like when a police officer has someone put their hands on a car and can be used as a cute trick.
We actually changed the command to 'spread 'em' moments later because he wanted to use that.
The sliding side to side gives the dog a different picture each time to aid in learning faster.
He is also practicing heel, keeping the dog straight etc. it's what I call 'training in the moment'.
